The Pineapple Cake Party

One rule: bring cake.

You bring the cake. We bring the lawn, the lemonade, and the good company. The Pineapple Cake Party is a casual afternoon gathering on the grounds of The Nordic Pineapple where the only requirement for entry is a homemade cake to share with the crowd.

Display your creation, admire everyone else's, grab a sliver of something you have never tried before, and spend a few hours enjoying great food and even better conversation. Simple cakes, elaborate cakes, family recipes, wild experiments, all of it is welcome here.

What We Provide:

• Covered cake display tables on our porch
• Plates, napkins, and cutlery
• Cake description signage for your creation
• Water and our famous pineapple lemonade
• Yard games on the lawn
• A guided tour of the first floor of the inn, including a peek into the history of this beautiful 1861 home and the families who have called it theirs over the years

What to Bring:

• One cake to share with the group (creativity encouraged!)
• A cake stand for display
• Picnic essentials: chairs, blankets, or whatever makes you comfortable on the lawn

Dates: Sunday, August 2, 2026

Cost: $20 per group of two, $5 per each additional guest (maximum group size of four)

This first event is capped at 15 groups, so space is genuinely limited. In the event of inclement weather the event will be rescheduled and registered guests will be notified promptly.
