Looking for something more memorable than a hotel conference room? The Nordic Pineapple offers an intimate and genuinely unique setting for your next retreat, just 25 minutes north of downtown Lansing. Our historic 1861 inn gives your group the privacy of an exclusive space with the warmth and personal touch that only a true bed and breakfast can offer.

We host a small number of retreats each year, and groups keep coming back. One team is joining us for their third consecutive annual retreat this June -- and we think that says more than any brochure could.

How It Works

All retreats at The Nordic Pineapple require exclusive use of the inn. That means your group has the entire property to yourselves -- all seven suites, all common spaces, the porches, and the grounds. No other guests, no interruptions, just your team and the work you came to do.

We do not host day retreats. All retreat packages include overnight accommodations.

Who It Is For

Our space is a natural fit for small businesses, nonprofit boards, leadership teams, and Michigan-based organizations looking for a focused, distraction-free environment with a little more soul than a standard meeting venue. Our intimate setting accommodates up to 14 guests across our seven private suites, though most groups use one suite per person.

What Is Included in the Base Rate

Every retreat includes exclusive use of all seven suites and common areas, complimentary plated breakfast each morning, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property, multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a large-screen TV for presentations, and 24-hour access to coffee, tea, and beverages.

Optional Enhancements

We can do as little or as much as you need. Add-ons include:

Meals: Lunch and dinner service with custom menus, starting at $50 per person per day. Everything is prepared fresh in our kitchen by our innkeeper Darci, who brings over 40 years of hospitality experience to every meal she serves.

Retreat Enhancements: Welcome gifts featuring Nordic Pineapple keepsakes and locally sourced treats, evening firepit gatherings, and itinerary planning including restaurant reservations and local recommendations. Enhancement packages start at $25 per person.

Early check-in and late departure are available for groups upon request.

Explore the Area

When the agenda wraps up, Saint Johns and the greater Lansing area have plenty to offer. Your group can unwind at local wineries like Graham's Vineyard and Burgdorf's Winery, enjoy dinner at spots like Ryan's Roadhouse, The Heist, or Bridestreet Social, explore downtown Saint Johns, or spend time outdoors at Sleepy Hollow State Park.

Pricing

Retreat packages start at:

• One-night exclusive buyout: $1,750
• Two-night exclusive buyout: $3,250

Base rates include rooms and common spaces only. Meal service starts at $50 per person per day. Enhancement packages start at $25 per person. All additional services are priced individually and discussed during the planning process.

A fully loaded two-night retreat for 10 guests typically ranges from $5,000 to $5,500 depending on selected services.

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your dates. Our Peace of Mind cancellation policy applies to all group bookings.
